Tyler L. Churchfield, 61, of Monroeville, died Monday, May 12, 2008. He was born Oct. 9, 1946, in Pittsburgh to the late William Leroy and Martha Gregowich Churchfield. Tyler was a Vietnam War Army veteran who received the Military Order of the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star and an auditor for Mellon Bank. Surviving are daughter Tia L. Churchfield, of Pittsburgh, and son Tyler L. Churchfield II, of Monroeville. There is no visitation. Services are private. Arrangements by the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., Boston, Elizabeth Township.
