GatewayGators.net collects your information at various places when you use our site. Based on the data we collect, we customize the information available to you on this site, showing content that may be of interest to you and/or advertising of possible interest to you.
According to federal laws, GatewayGators.com does not knowingly collect or store information from children under the age of 13, as this site is not intended for an audience of 13 or younger.
Types of information collected:
During registration, we collect various information from you in order to enable our site to connect you with other alumni, news, and content that might be of interest to you. Submission of certain parts of that information is required for access to the web site.
Your Privacy:
In your profile, you will have the ability to complete a variety of information for display to other guests on the site. Other guests on this site will not be able to directly contact you and will not have access to certain parts of your registration information, such as email address, current zip and current area code. By default, this site will display your full name in any public areas.
Some of the information that we ask for, including your home address, phone number, etc. WILL ONLY be used for internal purposes, such as Alumni affairs. Should at some point we decide to aggregate such information into a printed or electronic directory of alumni, we will notify you via EMAIL - to the email address on file on your account - and give you the option to opt out of such a publication. In addition, we never divulge such information to third parties without your consent. Only the developers of GatewayGators.net and Gateway School District will have access to this information.
Real-Time Map Privacy info...
Our Real-Time mapping feature only reveals names, class year and general geographic area of the alumni... normally this is the ZIP CODE in which they reside. We ONLY map alumni on the basis of ZIP code. We will never show your actual geographical location at a more detailed level than your ZIP CODE. If you DO NOT WISH to be mapped on the REAL-TIME map, you may choose to leave the OPTIONAL ZIP CODE, HOME ADDRESS, CITY, STATE, ZIP, fields BLANK.

Editorial Supervision
The developers of this site reserve the right to review content posted to the user profiles as well as the accounts themselves. Questionable content may be removed or editied without notification to the user. We reserve the right to terminate any account for abuses of the system including using the email system for spamming, posting questionable/profanity/objectionable material to your user profile, etc. User accounts are reviewed for their validity and may be terminated at any time if the account is deemeed questionable. By using this site you agree that the developers of this site may undertake whatever editorial or administrative actions that are necessary to protect the integrity of this site.
Please DO NOT post questionable or bogus content on your profile. Your profile is a reflection of you - don't put anything in there that is outrageous or questionable. We will remove WITHOUT WARNING questionable or otherwise objectionable content.
