David SuprockClass of 1965

SUPROCK David M., beloved husband of Suzanne. Devoted father of Maribeth (of South Bend,IN.) and Julia (of Boston, MA.).
Eldest son of George and Louise Suprock. Loving brother of Thomas (Susanne), Patricia, and John (Kendall).
Also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
David served as an Army officer in Military Intelligence during the Vietnam War. He attended Officer Candidate School immediately after basic training and was posted to Okinawa as a Lieutenant. By the end of his four years of service he attained the rank of Captain and earned the Commendation Medal for sustained acts of heroism and meritorious
service.
After military service, David graduated from University of Cincinnati with a BS in Metallurgical Engineering, and later earned a Masters from Xavier University.
At his passing, he was Director of Materials Technology at Cincinnati Machine and had launched his dream of having his own golf club company. Working with a scientist in China, David had patented a unique laminated face for a golf club and was waiting on approval from the PGA.
A longtime resident of Madeira, Ohio and an active member of St. Gertrude's Church.
David had just defeated both stage 3 kidney cancer and a brain tumor and passed a physical when he passed away on June 21, 2003 at the age of 56 from a brain aneurysm.
