PATRICIA LYNN TAYLOR DURNEY PATRICIA LYNN TAYLOR DURNEY of Houston, Texas died on February 18, 2010.Pat was born May 15, 1959, in Monroeville PA, near Pittsburgh, to Chuck and Marj Taylor. She received a B.A. degree from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania in 1981, and a law degree from Lewis & Clark in Oregon in 1984. After graduation she worked for Westinghouse Electric Corporation for two years in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She was then accepted into the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia where she excelled. Pat was a Special Agent in Galveston and then Houston for 17 years before leaving her position to care for her two young sons. At the time of her death, Pat was employed as a Security Advisor for ConocoPhillips in Houston, Texas.In college, Pat was a member of the Allegheny College volleyball and synchronized swimming teams and she later enjoyed agility training with her two beloved labs and her beagle. She was an avid reader and spent much time teaching her two sons to swim at the YMCA. She also loved taking them to libraries and parks.She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Randy L. Durney of Houston, Texas, her two sons Kevin and Louis, ages 7 and 4, and step-daughter Megan Durney, age 31, of New York. She is also survived by her father and mother Chuck and Marj Taylor, her sister and brother-in-law Leslie and Jim Minteer and her brother, and sister-in-law Drs. Gary and Mary Alice Taylor all of the Pittsburgh, PA area; and her sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Rick Bieber of Dallas, Texas; as well as by numerous nieces and nephews Contact: Log in to see contact info
