david was a great guy and i remember growing up in pitcairn the group of kids allways playing in the big lot next to thier house on 7th street David R. Borst Jr. Hillsboro, Ore. Formerly of Pitcairn David R. Borst Jr., 49, of Hillsboro, Ore., formerly of Pitcairn, died suddenly Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, due to a motorcycle accident in Idaho on a 9/11 run. He was the beloved son of Judy (Kline) Shipley and David R. Borst Sr.; and husband of Michelle Rodriguez Borst and the late Dawn Borst. David was preceded in death by grandparents, William and Sue Kline, and David and Elizabeth Borst. Also survived by stepchildren, Tracy (Jesse) Garcia, Samantha Rodriguez and Adam Rodriguez; grandmother, Amelia Shipley; three grandchildren, Sarah and Rachel Olson and Gwendolyn Garcia; great-grandson, Hunter; siblings, Robert (Paula) Borst, Donna (Mark) Feeney, Suzanne (Douglas) Stilwell and Allen Shipley; also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, in Cross Roads Presbyterian Church, 2310 Haymaker Road, Monroeville.
